What are Bloodline Limits?

Bloodline Limits are abilities that are unique to your character because of the clan you have chosen. The Clans which have bloodline limits are:

Uchiha - Sharingan

Hyuuga – Byakugan

Other clans have their own special jutsus but those are not classified as Bloodline Limits because others can learn them. The only documented case of a bloodline Limit having being acquired outside of that bloodline is the case of Kakashi and his half Sharingan.

Byakugan

Allows the user to gain incredible powers of vision. After activating the Byakugan (by forming a seal and saying the word Byakugan… also spending some serious chakra) the user is able to see minute details at incredible distances, see through objects and even see chakra flowing through their surroundings. With time Byakugan can be utilized as part of a separate branch of Taijutsu called open palm fighting or Jyuken. For more information on Jyuken refer to the Jyuken Progress Tree. Byakugan requires 20 spiritual chakra a turn while activated and also 100 to activate it. You are able to allocate points into Byakugan and will need to as you progress along the Jyuken Tree.

Sharingan

A modern (relatively) variation upon Byakugan, the Sharingan focuses more upon close range inspection. While it does enhance your range of sight it does not do so to the extent of Byakugan. It does have its own powers however, the first being that it can automatically see through any Genjutsu of it’s current level or lower. The second is that at its later stages it gives the user a mental image of where the opponent is going to be when the users attack hits. In game terms this means that the user of Sharingan gains an accuracy increase for every point he/she has placed into Sharingan while Sharingan is activated. Sharingan also helps anticipate where an opponents attack is going to come from and allows the user to see any attack long before most have even become suspicious. In game terms this means that while Sharingan is activated you can add your Sharingan skill to your Int while dodging. There is also a separate skill Tree for Sharingan users that contains various Sharingan only jutsus.

Aburame bugs

Members of the Aburame clan have since birth a small hive of bugs growing within their body and living off their spiritual chakra. These bugs allow members of the Aburame clan to perform special jutsus. These bugs can however, be the target for unfriendly jutsus and as such can be killed. Each Aburame bug user has a base number of bugs equal to what would usually be their Spi Chakra. They also take damage normally, except when attacked by Taijutsu or other single point (non area affect) attacks in which case they take only 10% damage. Also if an Aburame user has bugs within his body and lands a physical attack then his bugs may swarm the enemy dealing their number as damage to both types of chakra each turn. To get the bugs off, the enemy must use either an area affect attack (like Katon 1) or dive underwater.

 Inuzuka pets

Members of the Inuzuka clan have special pets that may learn techniques and even have their own stats and jutsus. For every point an Inuzuka spends in the relationship tree against his pet he gets one more in that tree for free. Pets are counted as shinobi by this games rules and start off with 300 points to spend. They may only learn jutsus that their owner already knows. They also may not learn any jutsus that require hand seals or human limbs. Members of the Inuzuka clan also gain certain properties of their animal companions. For example Inuzuka Kiba has an incredibly acute sense of smell due to his friendly dog Akamaru. Also Inuzuka members and their pets each gain 10 moments with each other to start. These points do not count to their general total.
